Who Will I Be ?

Wer bin ich ? Wer will ich sein ? Was will ich werden ?

Who am I ? Who do I want to be ? Who will I be ? Why do I have to decide, what I want to do for the rest of my life ? Will I find something that makes me happy and lucky ? Will I be lucky ? Do I have to worry about these questions right now ?

Kontrabassistin ? Fotografin ? Managerin ? Journalistin ?  - Ich habe keine Ahnung.

Who will I be ? I often ask myself this question because a lot of my friends seem to know the answer perfectly. But from where can I know which profession makes me lucky and is a lot of fun for me ? I know, that I do not have to tie myself down for the rest of my life. There is always a possibility to change bad things into good things. Nevertheless there is so much pressure out there that I begin to stress myself. I am only sixteen. How can I decide right know, what`s the best for me ? Or can I ? Everywhere we hear someone saying that we are nothing without an A level or a study. I am nothing without a small piece of paper ? Yes, I am ! I learn for myself and because I want to. That has nothing to do with this small piece of paper. Of course it will be a big reward and a big praise. I know that I want to do my A level and go to university. Just because I want to give myself the evidence of being strong enough. Ok, that is a small progess. A level - going to university. Only the rest of the answer is missing. There is just an itty bitty problem: It is so hard to chose, what I want to study as I like so many things and I do not have any ideas, what is a lot of fun for me as a profession. On the one hand this question is really frightening, but on the other hand it is very interesting for me, to think about my life in 15 years. Because right know I have the choice. Who will I be ? A contrabassist ? A photographer ? A manager ? A journalist ? - I have no idea.

Do you know, what you want to do in the future ? Or do you have the same problem like me ? I really need your thoughts about this question and some advice... I would be really happy to read your opinions in the comments below.

Love you, P.
