Being Different

Anders. Was bedeutet das eigentlich ?

Different. What does that mean ? I cannot think of another word that can describe it perfectly. I would always explain this word with itself. If you are different there is an invisible wall between you and your fellows. There are people wanting to isolate themselves from the others. But that is not the kind of isolation I was thinking about.

People that are affected by isolation can feel that from the beginning. They know that they do not belong to the others. It is almost as if you want to bring together two positive sites of a magnet. They are unable to build an unity. Outsider. They cannot cross the invisible wall and they cannot burst it. But why is it like that ?

And is it a bad thing ? I do not think so. But for sure it is definitely not easy and I admire the power they have to have. You want to fit in, but you know you can`t. And at the same time you need to stay true to yourself because otherwise it would make you feel more and more uncomfortable. Isolation is something that`s hurting every human being. It`s touching our souls because it is so hard to understand, why you don`t fit in although you really want to. But the thing is that you always need two parts to build unities. You can`t force it and that`s probably the worst thing about this. But what I want ot say is that everyone of us will feel like that sometimes. You won`t always be in a place and surrounding that`s perfectly for you. That is why we all are outsiders sometimes. And that`s not a bad thing because you get to know yourself better and you learn what`s best for you. So please promise me that you`ll never laugh about outsiders again because in the end you are the same like them. But the one difference is that you can be happy about having found a surrounding that makes you feel comfortable.
